Iris setosa

These Iris setosa (Wild Flag) are seed grown and occur in the usual blue form but occasionally in red and white. I sow only seed from the red and white plants but most seedlings bloom blue. I have a subspecies from the Alaska Penninsula that blooms a darker violet, has wider foliage, and blooms a bit later that our interior variety.
