A small tree that generally grows to about 15' in height and about 10+ in spreade. White flower buds are pinked tipped and open completely white. Leaf buds and young leaves are silvery-gray and at maturity they become green. Grows best in the cooler parts of its adaptation region. Sometime grown and sold as Pyrus salicifolia ‘Silver Frost’.
