Description of plant at maturity:
A popular deciduous tree with masses of pink, double flowers in late winter that have a subtle, delicious scent. Bears purple foliage throughout the warmer months before turning bronze in autumn. Excellent specimen and shade tree for smaller gardens, or planted en masse for stunning effect.

Prefers a sunny to partly shaded position in well drained soil. Water after planting until established. Prune in winter if required. To plant, cultivate the soil before planting. Dig a hole twice the width of the plant pot. Remove the plant from the container and place into the hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground.
