In order to allow our customers to create a different combination of equipment and design, the Swedish brand has decided to remove its flagship finishes from the catalog to make room for Core, Plus and Ultimate.

Core: The standard (but already well supplied) equipment equivalent to a Momentum trim.

Plus (B6 engine only): An intermediate level that includes the equipment of the Core while adding the 360° camera, the semi-autonomous Pilot Assist and HomeLink.
Ultimate (B6 engine only): In addition to the equipment of the Core and Plus trim levels, Ultimate benefits from the Harman Kardon Premium sound system, heated rear seats and a head-up display.
As a reminder, the B5 and B6 engines were added to the Volvo XC60 last year and will be introduced to the entire Volvo range in 2023. In the case of the 2023 Volvo XC40, it will also offer a B4 engine.
As for the design, you will have access to three exterior trim levels that carry over the visual identity of Momentum, R-Design and Inscription while incorporating the new design features of 2023.
- Base similar to the Momentum exterior finish
- Dark similar to R-Design exterior

A significant increase that allows the Volvo XC60 Recharge 2023 to reach 455 HP and improve the performance of the 4WD in situations where it needs it. This new battery also provides a 100% electric range of about 60 kilometers.
Also, since the Volvo XC60 is powered by a mild-hybrid engine from the Core trim, you will have the possibility to save fuel thanks to a 48v battery that will intervene during braking, acceleration or engine restart (Start & Stop function).
New colors
Two new colors make their appearance on the Volvo XC60 2023 lineup:
- Solid Black Stone, which is also available on the Volvo S60
- Bright Dusk Metallic
They will complete our list of 9 colors, ranging from Crystal White to Fusion Red Metallic.
They leave the catalog
The year 2023 also marks the end of some options for our Volvo XC60. The Pine Grey Metallic and Ice White Solid colors are going away, as is the induction charger, which can no longer be ordered.
