Wonderful summer flowering perennial from central Europe from Afghanistan to Tibet. Lavender blue flowers during the summer, popular in eastern herbal medicine.
A good salvia for open positions where it gets plenty of sun. Long flowering from mid summer onwards with literally hundreds of light blue flowers. Trim back annually like a lavender for best long term results.
A beautiful variety with silver and reddish flower heads that stand well above the foliage and last into winter. Like other varieties, cut down to ground level in winter every few years.
