These Knipex fine needle nose pliers are really nice - I own a pair, but the prices on them have gotten crazy. They usually sell around $35 - $40, and rarely go below $35. They're overpriced, but probably the best fine need noses out there.

My thinking is that long nose pliers from other brands will be decent where needle nose pliers from knipex would be notably superior and probably worth buying.
Says right in the OP:

Comparing Harbor Freight to Knipex is rather funny.
There's a time and place for each tool, but they don't really compare.
