C2 Vehicle
Meridian’s C2 vehicle provides a protected tactical solution for security personnel operating in high threat areas or situations. With its integrated command and control equipment suite, rapid deployment of command and control is possible.
The vehicle provides for information management of the integrated network of communications and sensor capability within the unit of action and provides the tools for commanders to synchronize their knowledge of combat power with the human dimension of leadership.
The C2 vehicle contains all the interfaces required to enable the commander to leverage the power of the C4ISR network and provides the means for leaders at all levels to achieve information superiority and situational understanding. In addition, the C2 vehicles make it possible to establish, maintain and distribute a common operating picture fused from deployed G-WASP and sensors.
The crew is able to use its integrated C4ISR suite (communication, computers and sensor systems) to receive, analyze and transmit tactical information via voice, video and data inside and outside the unit of action. The vehicle has accommodation for 2 + 4 crew and provides ballistic protection to levels of A9/B6+. All wheel drive added to upgraded suspension provides excellent on and off road performance allowing a multitude of terrains to be attended. On board sensors include optical TV and TI cameras and Hostile Fire Indicators.
