Height 10-15cm. Leaves small, elliptic. Upright leafy stems with terminal dense racemes of flowers. Flowers deep blue 1-1.5cm long, the corolla tube longer than the widely spreading lobes. Himalaya. This is one of the easiest species for the alpine house if grown in a rich scree compost.
