Monarda Fistulosa, better known as Bee Balm, belongs to the Lamiaceae family, to which lavenders, basils and mint belong. It owes its name to Monarda, in honor of the Botanist Nicolas Monardes,

It grows wild in North America, where it is also used as an ornamental crop, as it attracts bees and hummingbirds. Its essential oil is rich in geraniol, this being its protagonist with 89%, followed by thymol and cineole, which gives it its powerful antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties.


It has wide use for skin care:

In nail care: Fingernails and toenails are prone to peeling if there is fungus, taking some medications or coming into contact with any chemicals, Monarda essential oil can be useful for relieving peeling or peeling of the nails. nails, to use it it must be diluted with a carrier oil and applied to properly clean feet before going to bed.
