Clematis Henryi

Large, 6-8" white flowers centered with dark red stamens bloom twice, first in early summer and again in late summer. This Clematis can be trained to climb on walls or trellises, or can sprawl as a ground cover. 

Full sun - part shade. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 4-8.

Attracts pollinators, deer resistant, Black Walnut tolerant. 

Blooms on old and new wood - avoid pruning. If pruned to ground, next seasons flowering will be reduced and/or delayed. 

Apply mulch at root zone to keep soil cool and uniformly moist.
