Apricot Candy is a delight to any garden palette with her ruffle-edged petals and rich apricot to pink coloring. While she looks delicate, this rose surprises with a moderately spicy fragrance! The upright, bushy growth habit supports the soft green foliage and pastel blooms. We love that this bush stays narrow at just 2-3’ wide but will shoot up to 5-6’ in height. Apricot Candy prefers the sunniest spot in your garden and will thank you with many flushes of blooms throughout the season.

Best rose I have ever had

Apricot Candy is my favorite rose of all time. I have been blessed with her in my garden for three seasons now and every year she is the show piece. The blooms are abundant from spring to late fall, relatively disease resistant and responds to fertilizer and care quickly. Everyone who visits my garden stops to pause making comments of how spectacular this rose is, and while not long stemmed, her blooms cut well and last in a vase for some time. All around to me the best rose.

Always in bloom! Very healthy, strong growing rose

I fell in love with Apricot Candy when I saw her in a video. A fellow rose friend actually gifted me this rose from heirloom. So sweet! She immediately took off with a ton of foliage growth and before I knew it, she had like 3 or 4 buds pop up. She bloomed the most beautiful apricot bloom with touches of creamy peach and a hint of a pale yellow in the center and she has not stopped blooming since! She is absolutely gorgeous. Has a "spicy" scent. I am a new rose gardener, so I am still learning all of the different kinds of scents. I loved this bloom so much that I decided I had to have more of her! I immediately went to heirlooms site and ordered 2 more. This rose is not talked about near as much as it should be. Buy her, you won't be disappointed!

Uber Romantic Gorgeous Rose

I've grown over 200 varieties of roses over the years, and this one continues to blow me away with the beauty of her flushes. The spring one is always spectacular: the exuberance, size, and flower form is a sight to behold. And then there are many, more flowers over the season, with the blooms lasting forever on the bush... one of the longest lasting of all the roses in my yard, plus the flower transformation is fascinating. Very healthy as well, and I don't spray (although blackspot isn't a problem where I live, in Albuquerque NM, Zone 7A.). I will always have this rose in my garden!!

Amazing

I planted this rose just 3 weeks ago and it has just taken off. It already has leafed out and has several buds forming. I’ve never had a rose take root so fast. Can’t wait until it blooms!

Wow

Decided against good sense to plant roses in a late July heat wave in the Northeast. I'm so glad I ordered from Heirloom. The roses arrived without leaves but looking sturdy and strong. I used all the Heirloom "Get Growing" materials at planting. Within a week they were leafing out, at about 3 weeks they were budding, and within 5 weeks I had blooms! Of the three I ordered (which are all healthy and beautiful), Apricot Candy has the most blooms. I bought bareroot roses from other sources long ago and most of them have only limped along, making me think I couldn't grow roses. The own-root roses in soil from Heirloom are a game changer!
