  • Grow in 1 or 2 gallon (larger sizes may take a long time to fill out)
  • Grow in well-drained soil
  • Water needs: keep evenly moist; do not overwater
  • Fertilizing: use a slow release, medium-rate fertilizer; avoid fertilizing late in season
  • Possible pests: aphids, mealybugs, leaf spot, spidermites, spittlebugs, possibly chinch bugs during summer months
  • Overwintering: cold frame with clear poly; do not over water
