Amy Bielunis ’05 is a star! Bielunis is one of 51 teachers to receive the 2008 American Star of Teaching Award. A physical education teacher at Mount Lebanon Elementary School in West Lebanon, NH, Bielunis accepted the title for the state of New Hampshire, having been selected from more than 5,000 nominees nationwide. The 51 award-winning teachers are from all 50 states and Washington, DC. Bielunis’ energy, optimism and passion for teaching are the qualities for which her students and colleagues nominated her.
