Coronation Gold Yarrow
The best of the yellow flowered yarrows first sold during the year of the Queen’s coronation. It makes well behaved evergreen mounds of feathery grey leaves. During late spring and summer 120cm tall, leafy stems support tiers of whitish, cotton-wool like buds which open in a long succession to flat plates of clear light yellow flower heads. A classic plant given the coveted Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society. Sun. Tough and drought tolerant requiring only the minimum of watering if it becomes parched. 120cm x 90cm.
