Achillea ‘Wesersandstein’
Weser River Sandstone Yarrow
A medley of cream, creamy rose and antique pink sets off this handsome variety of yarrow. Growing 60cm tall with a spread of 50cm ‘Wesersandstein’ will flower from late spring until autumn. During winter the early morning sun on the sere skeletal remains of the flower heads decked with dew and cobwebs is thrilling. Achillea ‘Wesersandstein’ was named for the north west German Weser River which flows through the city of Bremen and into the North Sea at Bremenhaven.
