Worst customer service ever! I don't know if Cameron is family or what but he should not be working with the general public. If businesses would like customers to spend their hard earned money they should treat customers with a little courtesy. Go to Pioneer Garden and save yourself the hassle of being treated like you are a bother.

I recently bought some fancy crystal shrimp from them, and I'd first like to say how hard it is to find this breed of shrimp anywhere in this area. Closest place was in Seattle aside from here. These shrimp were high quality, and also reasonably priced.
After two weeks, I am happy to say that my shrimp are thriving (one pictured here valiantly riding my apple snail), which pays homage to Kaija's quality of pets.
As the fish guy at Kaija's knew that I had been waiting patiently for this particular breed of shrimp to come back in stock, he even gave me a small discount for my wait time. I highly recommend their store for their great customer service, reasonable prices, quality products, and knowledgeable staff.

Love this store! Has veggie starts when no one else has them. Has cover crops by the pound when no one else does. Has organic chicken feed and hard to find large bags of fertilizer for trees and gardens. It's a small store, but thankfully they have even a huge selection of seeds!

Cool local nursery and pet place where the staff is knowledgeable and friendly- they all seem to like being there. I've been in several times- for plants, or dog or cat or bird supplies, or gifts (especially at Christmas when they have the most beautiful inventory for glass ornaments), or this time for plant fertilizer. They have a great selection and they helped me find exactly what I needed to finish up the job I was doing in the garden.

DO NOT GO THERE .. the guy that works there is the rudest person I've ever dealt with . I have a elderly friend next door and she has fish tanks . She asked me if I could grab something for her tanks . She gave me the name and cash to buy it because she doesn't drive anymore. I got there and grabbed what I was told to and this man comes out and starts asking me a bunch of questions I don't know the answers to . Like exactly what kind of fish and symptoms. I told him it's my neighbor and she's like 80 and she's had fish forever . She told me what to grab . He starts yelling at me about fish antibiotics and people taking them and whatever else . I know people do weird things but it's antibiotics not pain meds and I was doing a favor for my neighbor and he talked to me like I was lying to him . He is the rudest man . You should not spend any money in that store

Oh my lord. Worst service I have ever received! If you have children or if you are a decent person is general. DO NOT spend a dime here.

100% do not recommend this store. the employees advice about not having to cycle a salt water aquarium just buy our salt water. Maybe you should worry more about the fish than sales. I will never come here again. Now will I allow anyone I know to purchase from here. That's horrible me advice, you must CYCLE a tank regardless if it's fresh or marine.

I completely recommend this store, the employees are very knowledgable about the animals and helpful. I got my beta there and she lived for 6 years. I also got my cat there and she's really sweet. We recently got a beardie and he is friendly and healthy. The employees helped me with how to care for him. I only give it 4 stars because the rodent room is gross and the prices on everything are a bit high. But overall the merchandise is excellent quality.

Got my cat from there a year ago and he's super happy! I also buy my seeds from there and they've never failed to grow! I highly recommend this place.

Great place for veggies and plants. A little pricy but the have awesome items and the best staff! Well worth it!
