I really enjoyed lap swimming here. It felt like I was swimming in fresh water as there was no chlorine smell. The entrance fee is 1,75€ and if you choose to have a locker, the refundable locker fee is 0,50 €. After you enter and pay the entrance fee, there are small lockers for shoes. Take off your shoes and proceed to the changing rooms (similar to changing rooms at a clothing store) at the sides of the pool. There are bigger lockers next to the changing area with a corresponding number to your shoe locker for clothes and larger items. For US visitors, be aware that the lockers, changing area, bathrooms (with swinging saloon doors for the men's bathroom), and showers surround the perimeter of the pool. In other words, showering without your swimsuit after your swim workout as most people do in the States is probably not appropriate here. There's an area of the pool for free swim and play and three lap lanes (slow, medium, and fast). Again, I really enjoyed lap swimming here and it was a nice break away from the tourist area of Brugge.
