Certified Organic and conventionally grown strawberries. Although not certified, we grow a large selection of organically grown fruits and veggies including: squash, heirloom tomatoes, cantaloupe, watermelon, Texas 1015 sweet yellow onions, red onions, garlic, cucumbers, and green beans, cantaloupe, watermelon, blackberries, etc. We also offer a wide variety of other fruits and veggies always grown using best farming practices. No GMO seeds or plants ever! Our berries are hand picked and delivered to our stands every morning. Our fields are all local here in Orange County: Brea, Cerritos, Irvine, and Tustin. You can literally look behind our retail locations and see where your produce was grown.

After hearing good reviews about this place, my husband and I came here over the weekend to buy some strawberries.
The strawberries are huge, juicy, however they weren't as sweet (had a more dilute taste) as I was expecting. It was kind of underwhelming and when you compare the cost of these strawberries compared to other grocery stores/wholesale places like Costco - you might get a better deal and better-tasting strawberries elsewhere.Helpful 5Thanks 2Love this 3Oh no 0Business owner information

Hi Eva, Thanks for visiting our farm. We hope you will come back as you are right about the sweetness of the strawberries being diluted. That is EXACTLY what happens to berries due to all the recent rain we had. Think of strawberries like a cocktail...the more water you add to your cocktail the more diluted the taste and flavor become. When strawberry plants get too much rain, the natural sweetness is diluted until the plants get a chance to build back their natural sweetness. This can take a few weeks of warm, rainless weather. Yes, we are premium pricing as we are premium, locally grown strawberries unlike what you buy at Costco or other major grocery chains who get their berries from places like Mexico. Buying direct from local farms supports that local farm, farm workers, local economy and generational farms such as ours. American farms like our are systematically being put out of business companies that bring in produce from other countries such as Mexico. There is a huge disadvantage to local farms that have to pay a base rate of $16 per hour plus all the other payroll related taxes and expenses vs. Mexico that pays a base rate of $15 PER DAY. We understand that prices are high across the board for everything. That being said, in the future, if you are unhappy with your produce or anything else that you purchase from one of our locations we will gladly refund or replace your purchase as we 100% stand behind everything we sell. We also stand behind our motto...We are Orange County's Berry Finest and we know you will never get a berry that was picked that morning at the peak of freshness, healthiness or deliciousness from a big box store!

I came here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised.. I haven't been here before and I live in Brea! The most delicious strawberries and sourdough! Will come earlier in the day to check out more produce as well. I'd recommend calling before you go to make sure everything is in stock just in case they sell out. The staff is so friendly!

Found this stand near our hotel and grabbed a small container of strawberries that were bigger than the palm of my hand and super sweet and juicy. Promptly ate them all, wished we had more, and visited the next morning for a big tray. Yes, they are expensive. Yes, they are worth it.
Super delicious and what a treat! Back home it is still snowy and there are no strawberries like this ever.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Tiffany L.Fullerton, CA35412327Feb 6, 2023
I really wanted to love these strawberries since I came last season and they were the BEST I've ever had. However, I'm not sure if it was just my 3 batches but it was underwhelming and not very sweet at all): for $18 I definitely expected much more, to where my grocery strawberries were even better. I got the banana bread and that was good, though!
Service was great on the other hand, the gentleman at the stand was super nice.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 1 - 24710795486Jul 16, 2021
I've missed these guys. I want to say they had a place by Cerritos college but eventually sold the land to the school. I missed their strawberries dearly until I drove by this stand.
I stopped by and bought a box of delicious strawberries and a loaf of sourdough bread.
When I tasted the first berry, it immediately bought me back to the first time I tasted them. So delicious, sweet and juicy. My car smelled like strawberries the entire time driving home.
Best strawberries ever!Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 3Oh no 1 - Mar 2, 2021
Oh sure, there are strawberry stands all over the place. And yes, others are nice and fresh and juicy. But there's a big different between those and THESE! Manassero is, by far, the upper echelon of fresh picked strawberries!
They sell out fast, so make sure you call them prior to heading over. They are polite over the phone and even more friendly in person.
Pricing is comparable to organic, local grown.
For a sweet surprise my boyfriend took a large flat over to my parents for my dad's birthday. The whole way over, he could smell the sweet freshness and wanted to grab one and eat it... but these guys are so big that it would have left a huge dent in the lot and he'd have been outed. They sometimes can be as large as a small apple!
Not only are the strawberries impressive and delicious, they also carry a variety of other freshly picked items, baked goods and even fire wood!
Thank you Manassero Farms for making our family... and especially my parents... so happy. It's amazing how a few strawberries can improve your day!

The strawberries have been out of this world. I've been coming here once or twice a week. The family has been gorging on them and we've also been giving to family and friends. The strawberries are grown organic but not certified. The cost is comparable to organic prices at markets. But these are larger, juicer and sweeter.
We've also compared these berries to other strawberry stands and these are far better.
They have have other produce and very delicious pound cakes which are not always available.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Marvin E.San Francisco, CA030Sep 29, 2023

This one star rating is solely for the rude guy who was working there. I've been coming here for years and although the strawberries are top notch, the service was mediocre at best. That was until Monday when this new guy took being rude to the next level! No greetings, no smile, he actually seemed annoyed and kind of threw the box of strawberries at me all because I asked if he had a different box from the one on display as it didn't look all that fresh. I shouldn't have to pay $26 for a box of strawberries that appeared to have been out in the sun all day. What, I can't even ask for a fresh box of strawberries??
Regardless, he had no business treating a customer like that!!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

Hi Jacklyn,
I am so very sorry that our employee treated you rudely. That is in no way acceptable to us. While we do our very best to train our employees that the customer is the most important thing we can't be at every location all the time. We, like many businesses all over the country have had a terrible time hiring and keeping good employees due to the almost non-existent pool of people to work. Please contact me at info@manasserofarms.com so that I may offer you something that will hopefully in some small way make up for your experience.
