Saxifraga arendsii 'Tinkerbell'

Mossy saxifrage. An easy and attractive cushion-forming plant which covers the ground, and themselves with flower, within a year of planting. 

A delicate variety with small white flowers on short stems with a pale yellow centre. 10cm x 50cm  or more spread over time. They like a fertile and well draining but moist soil. Full sun or part shade. Lime lover. 

In pots on the ground they can attacked by vine weevil larvae (their parents walked to the plant), eating the roots in winter, some lawn prills will help in early winter, easy to re-propagate.
