Cantabile is a group of musicians who have performed and toured throughout the US and internationally, whose lives have brought them all to Northern California to continue enchanting and engrossing audiences whenever and wherever they perform. Anna Combs-Johnson and Michele Rivard are accomplished singers with a wide range of experience, including Opera, Musical Theater, Jazz, Television appearances and more. Cellist Joel Cohen has played and toured with orchestras and chamber music ensembles, as well as performing frequently in recital and as soloist with orchestra. Elena Casanova is a brilliant solo pianist, at home in many styles, specializing in the music of Cuba.
Cantabile will be performing an eclectic program, ranging from Baroque and Brahms to musical theater and opera duets. This promises to be a very entertaining and satisfying evening of music. Pre-concert discussion 6:15 pm
