Achillea filipendulina ‘Cloth Of Gold’ is a stunningly tall variety with beautiful flowers that stand tall, bearing flat bright yellow flower heads. Its contrasting light green, feathery foliage is surprisingly very aromatic. When dried, ‘Cloth of Gold’ flower heads retain their colour very well, making them ideal to use in flower arrangements. It can reach a maximum mature height of 100 cm and spread of 60cm. This plant has bee awarded the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (RHS AGM).
Suggested care: Achillea filipendulina ‘Cloth Of Gold’ is suitable for well-drained soils positioned in full sun and an open position. It is undoubtedly an easy plant to care for as it is drought, heat, and humidity tolerant! However, do not allow the plant to become waterlogged. Deadheading faded blooms should encourage more buds to form over a long season. Divide clumps every three to five years.
Planting Instructions: Break up the soil well before planting and dig a hole twice the size of the pot. Remove plant from the pot by tapping the rim of the pot in ‘up side down’ position. Do not pull the plant from the pot. Firm soil after planting and water regularly for the first month.
