The Allen girls soccer team hoists the District 5-6A championship trophy after defeating Denton Guyer on Tuesday, 3-1.

ALLEN—The Allen girls soccer team has high hopes for the postseason, and the homestretch of their District 5-6A schedule will give them every opportunity to ensure they stay sharp come playoff time.

Tuesday marked the first of three straight matches to close out the regular season where the Lady Eagles will play an opponent that has either clinched a postseason spot or is in contention for one.
