'Little Adder' is a hardy, compact cultivar of giant hyssop, Agastache rugosa, an upright perennial herb native to East Asia. The 'Little Adder' cultivar is named for its compact growth habit, only growing to 15-18" tall as opposed to three feet in other cultivars. In addition, 'Little Adder' produces more profuse purple flowers atop vertical spikes through the summer and fall than its parent species, all while taking up less garden real estate. More flowers in less space means even more pollinator power, and 'Little Adder' will attract just as many butterflies, hummingbirds, and bumblebees as other Agastache varieties.

This cultivar is additionally resistant to drought, deer, and rabbits, and makes a great addition to pollinator and container gardens, as well as border plantings, rock gardens, and any location with good drainage and part to full sun.
