Osmanthus heterophyllus ‘Tricolor’ can tolerate a wide range of soils, even clay and sandy, put prefers fertile, slightly acidic, moist and well-drained soils. It grows well in full sun, partial shade, and even full shade. Once established, it is resistant to drought. It can withstand frost and low temperatures. Generally, pest-free.
