Poster project
I wanted to create a poster that represented Herbert Bayer not just as a graphic designer, but as the artistic polymath that he was. While Bayer is mainly remembered for his Bauhaus graphics and architecture, he was also a photographer, painter and creator of the Universal typeface.

For this piece I created a building inspired by Bayer's architectural pieces, and decorated it with some of his other works. Incorporated are his 1932 portrait, Humanly Impossible, his 1969 screenprint, Building a House, and a font similar to his Universal typeface, Proletarian.
