What are plugs? Plugs are plants grown in 72-cell trays; each soil plug is 1.6” wide x 3.2” deep. They are a great option for planting large gardens. We plant all of our own projects with plugs.
Blue Flag Iris is a true wetland plant that thrives in wet soil and even under water! Grows well in rain gardens, shoreline restorations under up to 6 inches of water, and even pots that are placed in ponds. Blue Flag Iris can grow in soil with medium moisture, too. Spreads slowly to form tight clumps.

Blue Flag Iris (Iris versicolor) can grow up to 4 feet tall in wet locations. In rain gardens, plant scattered throughout for nice tufts of sword-like stems above the sedges.
