Soft lilac-purple to rosy-pink flowers sport sparkling white halos and yellow anthers. A carpet of endearing flowers blankets its ferny foliage. Anemone Charmer is long blooming and naturalizes for years to create a lush spring underplanting or ground cover. This gem is a classic Dutch hybrid from 1957. The foliage will go dormant after flowering.

Anemone General Information

Windflowers are ideal planted in large drifts under spring flowering trees. Forms a mat-like ground cover in spring, but foliage does go dormant after flowering.

Anemone Plant Care

Soak tubers in water overnight before planting. Most Anemones will flower for three to four weeks. Once the flowers have faded, let the foliage remain to build up energy for next year's flowers. Foliage will go dormant shortly after flowering and can be cut back after it yellows. Hardy, adaptable. Grows well in moist, but well drained soil, acid or alkaline. Plant 2" inches deep and 4" inches apart.
