This outstanding gold-foliaged Spiderwort doesn’t burn in the sun! Narrow blades emerge in spring with a thin red margin. More sun exposure transitions chartreuse foliage to gold. Soft lavender-blue flowers weave throughout the arching habit. Wilber approved!
Tradescantia form dense spreading clumps of erect narrow strap-like leaves. Each flower stalk has many flower buds. When flower stems are cut, a secretion is released that is threadlike and silky much like a spider web; hence, the common name, Spiderwort.
