Origanum vulgare 'Compactum'

This compact, edible oregano forms a small mound of aromatic, green leaves. The pink flowers are held in maroon bases, being held in a cluster on 20cm stems from June to September. Like other oreganos, the flowers are loved by bees and other pollinators. Oregano is used in a lot of Mediterranean dishes like pasta, pizza and salads.

Oregano likes a well-drained soil in full sun.
