Heroes star Adrian Pasdar has been cast in a new pilot from The X Files creator Chris Carter.
Pasdar will appear in The After, an apocalyptic drama from Amazon Studios, Deadline reports.
Leverage's Aldis Hodge and Scream's Jamie Kennedy will also appear in the pilot, written and directed by Carter.
Pasdar will play a Beverly Hills business mogul, with Kennedy cast as a professional clown.
Hodge - recently attached to NBC's pilot The Sixth Gun - will star as an escaped convict who claims to have been wrongly convicted.
The After will be produced by Georgeville Television.
