While the game is super fun there are some issues you may come across when trying to record your gameplay using NVIDIA's built-in screen recording tools. The tool that appears when you press Alt+Z on your keyboard. The one that allows Instant replays, broadcasting, recording, and highlights. Thankfully the fix is quite a simple one but first, make sure you have downloaded the latest graphics drivers and Geforce Experience. How do you Record Lethal Company using NVIDIA ShadowPlay and Geforce Experience?
At this point in time, this problem is most probably caused by the NVIDIA in-game overlay not detecting the game correctly, preventing recording and instant replay from working. This causes Geforce Experience Overlay to jump back to the desktop where it then stops recording.
- To solve this problem press Alt+Z to bring up the Shadowplay/Geforce Overlay.
- Here click on settings, then scroll down and click Privacy Control.
- This will bring up a single option called Desktop Capture.

- This ensures a clean installation and helps prevent generic driver issues.

Switch to using OBS instead of ShadowPlay.

Even if you manage to get the "Geforce Experience" recorder working OBS is generally way better for recording content anyway.
