Veronicastrum virginicum 'Lavandelturm'

Culver's Root

Herbaceous Perennial

This graceful perennial is not as widely grown as it deserves to be. Upward thrusting lavender spires and interesting whorled foliage on tall stems create an airy presence in the mid-border. Pollinators of multiple sorts adore it; bees, butterflies, and hummers. Not suitable for the dry garden—this perennial is good for a consistently moist spot in your garden. If you're having success growing astilbe, this would be happy in similar conditions.
