Plum Pudding Heuchera is prized for its luscious, dark purple to deep pink foliage that looks great for months on end. Coral bells are a good choice for containers, as an edging plant, or in mixed beds to provide foliage color and texture. Like most heuchera, the plants have a tendency to heave out of the ground after a few years. When that happens, lift the plant and replant in late summer or early autumn with the crown just above the soil to mediate the leggy look. Be careful to not bury the crowns  too deeply when replanting.
