Camellia 'Snow Sprite' RARE GARDEN TREASURES EXCLUSIVE INTRODUCTION

Camellia x "Snow Sprite' is a small, evergreen shrub with green leaves and single white flowers.  Camellia x 'Snow Sprite' is a RARE and EXCLUSIVE GARDEN TREASURES INTRODUCTION and is a second-generation seedling from Camellia 'Yume' and displays the extremely long blooming season of its grandmother.  Camellia x 'Snow Sprite' typically starts blooming for us here in NC in October and continues, some years, until April.  Camellia x 'Snow Sprite' produces massive numbers of buds that open over an extremely long season and recovers quickly from severe cold that damages open flowers.  Camellia x 'Snow Sprite' is extremely slow growing and is probably best used as a specimen in a trough garden or rock garden where it will slowly make a stunning specimen.  The plants we are selling are 3 years old and the larger plant in photos below is 7 years old.  Given decent growing conditions, you can expect 1-2" of new growth per year and in a few years will produce a dense 2'x3' plant (guessing 15 years).
