Keith Urban is saying goodbye to The Voice Australia, and Nicole Kidman has his back.

On October 8, the country singer performed in Nashville, Tennessee for his world tour “The Speed of Now.” After paying a heartfelt tribute to the late Loretta Lynn, Keith was joined by his wife behind the scenes. She later shared the sweet private moment with a candid Instagram picture posted on the heels of Keith revealing that he is leaving The Voice Australia ahead of season 12 to focus on his family and music.

“On tour backstage Nashville, Tennessee 🖤,” Nicole captioned the Instagram snap.

Reacting to the intimate glimpse of the couple, fans immediately took to the comments section to share their thoughts. “Seeing the love and support you give to each other warms my heart,” one person wrote. “Like pieces in a jigsaw. You both just fit. ❤️,” another added. “They are so cute and perfect together. ❤️❤️,” a different fan said.

"Unfortunately the timing of it means that I won’t be able to come back for this next season of The Voice," he told the outlet. "My mum just turned 80 and Nic's mom, who knows how many Christmases we get with anybody ever but particularly with our moms, I really cherish that chance to spend [Christmas] with them and our family in [Australia]."

But Keith’s latest career announcement doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s done with the singing competition show. As folks may know, after joining The Voice Australia for season 1, he departed from the series. The “Blue Ain’t Your Color” vocalist later returned for season 10 and season 11.

"I actually don’t think of it as the end of a chapter at all because I love doing the show," he said. "I feel very close to everybody on the set and hopefully the door can stay open because I would jump back in a heartbeat.”

In the meantime, Keith is looking ahead at what the rest of the year looks like with Nicole and their daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret while The Voice Australia gears up to discover more talent.
