• Leaves: oppositely arranged, 2-4 inches long, ½-1 inch wide, fine widely spaced teeth, tapering to point at tip, rounded leaf base clasps stem
• Fruit/Seed:
• Height: 1-3 feet
• Flowering: June - September
• Habitat: along shores, swamps
