Astrantia 'Hadspen Blood'

Astrantia 'Hadspen Blood'

Common Name: 'Masterwort'

This is an excellent form and deservedly popular, with dark, maroon flowers and  deeply lobed, dark green leaves with almost imperceptible black margins. Our plants are grown by division and true to name. Jun-Aug and then later. H60cm S45cm.

Care Instructions

Best grown in moist, fertile, humus-rich soil in sun or partial shade but will tolerate drier conditions. It repeats well and is easy to grow but is slower to establish than Astrantia major and worthy of a good position. The colour is darkest in full sun.

Plant No: 362
