Lychnis viscaria 'Plena'

Common Name: 'German catchfly'

AGM. A clump-forming perennial with clusters of fully double, brilliantly magenta, pom-pom flowers in late spring and early summer. The stems exude a sticky sap, which catches insects trying to steal nectar without pollinating the plant, hence the common name 'catchfly'. May-Jul. H40cm S40cm.
