Sisyrinchium striatum 'Aunt May'

Synonym(s): Sisyrinchium striatum 'Variegatum' Common Name: 'Pale yellow-eyed grass'

An evergreen, clump-forming perennial which has striking cream margins to the greyish-green, sword-shaped leaves. Spikes of creamy-yellow flowers are produced in summer. Jun-Sep. H45cm S30cm.

Care Instructions

For a poor to moderately fertile, very well-drained, even gravelly, soil in full sun. Once established, it is very drought-tolerant and dislikes excessive winter wet. Excellent for the gravel garden, coastal plantings or between paving.
