Purple wood spurge is a very cool plant with deep purple-mahogany leaves and stems, which contrast beautifully with the chartreuse flowers. Evergreen (or really ever-red) foliage is attractive in form as well as color.

We can't say enough good things about this plant! It is one of our favorite ground covers for modern garden design or for the rock garden. It is much loved by pollinators, deer and rabbit resistant, and drought tolerant.
