Lythrum virgatum 'The Rocket'

Known as ' Purple Loosestrife' the Lythrums are another group of Native American wildflowers, suited well to the mixed or prairie style border. They all grow well in sun to part shade in any reasonable soil. This particular variety has spikes of deep rose pink flowers from from June onwards.
