Hacquetia epipactis - Dorset Perennials

Product details
Potsize - 1L Hacquetia epipactis (Dondia epipactis, Sanicula epipactis). What a lovely little plant this is; the very definition of understated charm. Ever so early in the year it produces tiny clustered yellow flowers surrounded with fresh apple green bracts in a dense weed smothering mound. These persist for months, eventually giving way to astrantia-like leaves. These will fade during the summer if the position is dry, (a situation they will tolerate well), but will go right through the season if the situatuion is a little moister and out of the sun. It looks a delicate little flower, but allowed to establish it makes a reliable ever spreading clump that will charm you year after year. 15cm high. This is the sole representative of its Genus and originates in central Europe. Discount of 25p per plant for quantities of 3 or over Links Botanical Style Photographs
