Saxifraga 'Rubrifolia' (fortunei)

A choice and rare plant for cool soil in a sheltered corner. Round varnished leaves, bronze-red above, carmine beneath, form a succulent looking clump. In autumn wide sprays of white starry flowers, the lower petals elongated, stand well above on rose-pink stems.
