Halimiocistus - Merrist Wood Cream

The delightful creamy yellow blossoms of Merrist Wood Cream bring excellent character to gardens and landscapes. Blooms generally occur throughout summer, and are accented by a distinct yellow center and dark burgundy accent. This evergreen shrub is great for attracting butterflies and bees, and can be pruned after blooms are spent.

Easily managed, Merrist Wood Cream grows to about 2' tall x 3' wide, and is deer, slug and snail resistant. Drought tolerant once established, it takes root best in well-draining soils. This splendid plant does well in full sun and can tolerate some filtered shade. Cold hardy to 0°F when protected from windchill.
