Powis Castle Artemesia, Powis Castle Wormwood
Artemisia x 'Powis Castle'

Woody perennial with soft, silvery-grey foliage. Does well in poor to average soil, but needs good drainage. Light afternoon shade is best in hot desert areas. Excellent background plant for bright flowers or mixed in among green plants for contrast. Tough enough to use as a bank or berm cover. Light pruning in early spring encourages full, mounding form. Unpruned or with too much water, becomes sprawling and rangy. Seldom flowers.
