Banned Books Reading List Worksheet Canva Template

Give students something to read about with a banned book reading list that they can complete themselves with their choice of banned books. They have plenty to choose from these days!

According to the American Library Association, the number of attempted book bans reached an all-time high in 2022.

Libraries are closing and schools across the country are banning any book that drifts outside of some very narrow thought patterns.

It is our job as educators to encourage students to access reading materials from a variety of genres and across cultural, religious, and social divides.

So I just had to make this template.

Please use it and reuse it as your students come and go, and as the number of banned books continues to grow.
