From the Met Gala to Coachella, CL’s style is never understated. The South Korean rapper has us accustomed to bold looks and designs that embody her artistry — and her latest Instagram post is no exception.
The soloist and 2NE1 member recently posted a picture donning a piece from Diesel’s fall 2022 ready-to-wear collection by creative director Glenn Martens. Straight from the runways, the eye-catching pink dress features a bodycon silhouette, mock neck, and rose gold metallic finish. If it perhaps looks familiar, that is because you may have seen fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in the same dress or reality star Kylie Jenner wearing a similar one in blue.
Despite the apparent popularity of the dress, CL made the look her own by styling it with a matching pink bobby pin and barrette in her long blonde strands with bangs. And, she wore it with her signature winged eyeliner, giving the look an edgy twist. In the caption, she signed off on the glittery pink look, calling herself “Spicy Cherry” referring to her songs “Spicy” and “Tie a Cherry.” And honestly? We can’t think of a better way to describe this outfit.

After recently stepping out earlier this month in all-denim for Balenciaga’s couture show in Paris and a black bra top, blazers, and trousers for the Schiaparelli show, CL’s new pink look from Diesel is a much-appreciated bright pop of color on her Instagram page. Of course, the “Lover Like Me” singer looks chic in any hue, and this rosy look just goes to show it.
As CL continues to make her way in the fashion world, we are sure there will be many more instances of the star wearing the most iconic looks from the runway. But in the meantime, we will be over here, obsessing over this shimmery ‘fit.
