Nepeta Snowflake

Nepeta 'Snowflake' grows almost without a care. This compact plant is vigorous and will form clumps of mid green foliage. The white flowers open freely on stems above the leaves. The blooms open from late spring all the way through to autumn.

Nepeta is also known as Catmint. It is easy care with few insect or disease problems. Suitable for gardens and containers. Flowers have a pretty good vase life. Dead head them regularly for constant flowers. Cut back hard after the first flush of flowers, (around mid to late December) then fertilise for a repeat bloom.
Nepeta grows best in full sun to part shade. In warmer climates it prefers part shade. Plant in moderately fertile to humus rich, well drained soil. Water to establish then only if rainfall is low.
