The foliage is adorned with clusters of small and showy, green buds that open to reveal yellow flowers that age to white through spring. It grows with a rounded shape to about 75 cm tall and 1 m wide, performing best when planted in full sun on a well-drained site that does not dry out. It will tolerate moderate frost though should be protected while establishing. “Kew Green” is commonly included in a mixed planting, planted around outdoor living areas, or grown as an informal hedge.
