A lovely Poster of the dinosaurs timelines from the first appearance, to their extinction, to now. This dinosaur timeline banner is a fantastic addition to any classroom or dinosaur display.

Timelines are an extremely useful tool when teaching children topics and concepts that are chronological. For, it gives them a chance to place their knowledge on a date in time, while also being able to put new information alongside that which they have already learned. This contextualization allows the students to organize their thoughts on the topic more easily. In this case, our dinosaur timeline will help students visualise just how long dinosaurs existed on earth compared to the short amount of time humans have.
Around 66 million years ago (As seen on our timeline), long before there was any trace of human activity, a huge asteroid wiped out 75% of all species on Earth in one fell swoop. Dinosaurs were completely wiped out with the blast. Today, the Chicxulub crater, located on the Eastern Coast of Mexico, serves as a physical reminder to the catastrophic event.
